Associate Professor Dale R Nyholt is a human geneticist expert in the statistical analysis of common complex traits. His expertise spans statistical genetic and genomic analysis, epidemiology, bioinformatics and biostatistics.
Dr Gavin Ash is a Professor of Plant Pathology and Director of the Centre for Crop Health at the University of Southern Queensland. He has over 120 peer-reviewed publications on plant diseases and pests, specialising in biological control in Australian cropping systems.
Lachlan completed a Bachelor of Science at ANU, majoring in Mathematics. After several years out of science working in consulting, he went to the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute to do a PhD in bioinformatics.
